An hourly booking will ensure that both the booked vehicle and the assigned driver remain at your complete disposal for the entire duration of the service .
The hourly service starts exactly at the pick-up time indicated during the booking and includes 20 km per hour – 12 miles per hour excluding long distances.
You can make changes to your time reservation free of charge up to 24 hours before your pick-up time.

For airport pickups , please enter the airport without specifying the arrival terminal; we will track the flights to ensure your driver is waiting for you at the correct terminal.
Please note : If you are booking for someone else, please include the guest’s contact information.
It is important to include the email address and phone number of the person who will be taking the ride, so that they can receive updates on the status of the ride and the driver’s contact information.
If you do not know the email address, you can enter your own, but it is mandatory to enter the guest’s mobile number.
In case of any irregularities, Blacklux will try to contact the guest with this number.

- After entering the details of the lead passenger, you will move to the next step: “payment”. You will find the box for the discount code at the top of the site where it says: “Do you have a discount code?”.
- Enter your code and click “apply”.
If the discount code is entered correctly and is valid, it will be applied directly to the total.

How do I book a child seat / booster seat?
Booking a booster seat / child seat is really simple
In general you have the following options:
- Child seat: Suitable for children weighing 0-18kg (approximately 0-4 years old).
- Booster seat: Suitable for children weighing 15-36 kg (approximately 4-10 years old).
Please write in the “notes for the driver” the age and weight of the child( ren) so that an appropriate device can be provided.
Note: The device must be added during booking or contact Blacklux® to add it later (within 24 hours before your ride).

What happens if I have more baggage than allowed in my booking?
Drivers reserve the right to refuse service based on the amount of additional luggage. Excess luggage may also incur additional charges.
How can I request a service that includes the transportation of an animal/pet?
Transporting animals with Blacklux without providing the details in advance during booking may result in additional charges and the driver refusing to operate the ride.
Our partners reserve the right to refuse to transport an animal that has not been agreed upon or added to the Special Requests field prior to the service. This also applies to animals that are not contained in special closed transport BOXES. Please provide the details in the “Notes for the driver” field. We strongly recommend that passengers with dogs in transport BOXES book a minivan or a larger vehicle (also depending on the total number of bags).
Transporting service animals without a carrier is possible and constitutes an exception to the rule; our carriers are therefore required to take this into account as per local regulations.
How do I know the load capacity of vehicles?
When you want to book a vehicle on our website, you can easily find out what the maximum luggage capacity is for each vehicle class. You can also see how many people each vehicle class can carry and what size luggage will fit perfectly.
To view the maximum boot capacity and number of passengers, simply click on the “More info” label and a dialogue box will appear with the specifications for that particular vehicle class.
At Blacklux® you have a variety of different vehicle classes for different types of occasions. Each class carries a different amount of luggage and passengers. Please note that safety is our top priority and drivers may refuse service if they feel there are too many people or luggage to make it safe.
Economy class
Economy class can accommodate up to 3 passengers and can handle up to 3 medium-sized bags.
Standard class (sedan)
The Standard Class (Sedan) can accommodate up to 3 passengers and can handle up to 3 medium-sized bags.
Standard Van
The Standard Van can accommodate up to 7 passengers and can handle up to 7 medium-sized bags.
First Class (Sedan)
First Class can accommodate up to 3 passengers and can handle up to 3 medium-sized bags.
First class VAN
The First Class Van can accommodate up to 6 passengers and can handle up to 6 medium-sized bags.
Minibus 12
The Minibus 12 can accommodate up to 12 passengers and can handle up to 12 medium-sized bags.
IMPORTANT: It is important to note that the vehicle selection is adapted to the number of passengers travelling and that it is always advisable to include information regarding the quantity/dimensions of luggage in the notes for the driver field; this would allow the local supplier to assign the vehicle best suited to your needs.
Medium-sized luggage and small items
Please note that a medium-sized bag can be up to 20 kg. Additionally, you can carry 1 small item (laptop, camera bag or small shoulder bag) inside the passenger space.
How many people can it carry?
Because safety is our top priority, drivers may refuse service if the amount of guests or luggage risks making the journey unsafe.

Can I bring food and drinks in the vehicle?

Alcoholic beverages are also not permitted in the vehicle. If a guest is found to be too intoxicated, the driver may ask the guest to refrain from drinking and may terminate the ride if it compromises safety.
The consumption of other (non-alcoholic) beverages inside the vehicle is at the driver’s discretion.
If the vehicle requires cleaning due to spilled food or drinks, there may be an additional charge.
All first class vehicles have bottled water on board to offer you something refreshing, and it is of course complimentary.
Are there any additional charges for bookings with night pickup?
The surcharge is 25% on the booked transfer. If you have booked two separate transfers, one during the night and one during the day, the 25% surcharge is only added on the night transfer.
What currency is used to calculate and charge my booking?
In Europe, the service will be charged in Euros, in the UK in Pounds and in the US the service will be charged in Dollars.
How far in advance can I book a transfer?
However, we recommend that you book as early as possible. Sometimes we may not have availability to arrange a trip within 24 hours of the requested pick-up time. For this reason, we always recommend checking availability through the BlackLux portal.
With Blacklux® you can make changes or cancellations free of charge up to 24 hours
before the collection time.

How long will the driver wait for me?

Airport pickups include 60 minutes of free waiting time before the driver
leave the pick-up location. By providing your flight number at the time of booking,
the driver will be able to track the arrival time and adjust the pick-up time
for any delays and early arrivals (where possible). If the delay is prolonged and
the driver is unable to wait, we will contact you to find a solution
alternative.
What can I request in the “Notes for the driver” field?
If you are traveling with an assistive device, please let us know in this field so we can better accommodate you. Be sure to include its dimensions, especially for larger devices such as folding wheelchairs, so we can ensure it will fit in the trunk of the vehicle.
You can also enter any other information that is relevant to your ride, such as “Please wait outside the house” or “The entrance to the house is on the next street, at 8 Muster Street.”
If you know in advance that additional stops are needed during your trip, please write a special request so that your driver is prepared. Additional waiting time or distance may result in additional charges.

How should I choose my pickup time?
It is usually recommended to schedule your ride at least 20 minutes after your flight lands.
This way, you can take all the time you need to go through customs, immigration and collect your bags.
However, since it depends mostly on whether it is a domestic or international trip, the pick-up time may vary.
For domestic travel :
If you are traveling domestically, you will not typically need to wait through immigration or customs. This means that the wait time for your passage can be much shorter than international travel. If you only bring carry-on luggage, this may reduce the wait time you need to plan for when choosing a pickup time.
For international travel:
If you are going through immigration and customs, wait times can vary depending on where you are traveling from. Whether you are traveling with carry-on luggage (bag(s)) or checked luggage can also make a difference. For those traveling internationally, we recommend 30 minutes between your flight arrival and your pick-up time.
All airport pick-ups include a one-hour free waiting time.
Pick-up from accommodation facilities to the airport:
If you are going to the airport, you need to calculate the right time to reach the place in time for your flight. You can do this through any geolocation service available online.
Airlines usually recommend being at the airport 2 hours before your flight departs .
In addition to this , you need to include the time needed to reach the location and some “buffer time” to accommodate minor delays due to unforeseen situations such as traffic, weather or bad road conditions.
Based on this, you can choose the best option according to your needs and schedule.

Before confirming your pick-up time, it is important to consider any delays that may occur with your flight. These may include delays due to security checks, baggage claim, passport control and other factors. When deciding on a pick-up time, try to allow extra time to ensure your ride is there when you need it.
